This 1.5 hour Workshop has five steps to an Introduction to Tai Chi:

2. How to Maintain Balance as we Mature
3. How to Find Strength in Softness
4. How to Discover Confidence in Daily Life
5. What is the True Meaning of the Yin and Yang
Hundreds of thousands of Tai Chi practitioners all over the world perform these amazing exercises before going about their daily routines. Some started young and continue into their ancient years. Others started when they were older and sought a cure for illness or lack of energy. They choose to continue because the results are obvious and positive.
What is Tai Chi and how can I learn it? In this Workshop, you will learn the meaning and theories behind this ancient Chinese are, and some simple but highly effective soft movements that will lift your spirits and give you renewed energy.
The Class will be small, limited to 10 students. No matter what your gender, age, or current physical ability, you can join this class and experience the flowing exercise called Tai Chi. Your teacher is Alan LeBaron, who first learned Tai Chi while spending nine years in Asia, where he studied various Zen and Tao related arts. Alan teaches Tai Chi at the Herb Shop on Wed. from 7-8pm.
Cost: $30. Hope you can come and join us for this Workshop! Alan will be starting a New, on-going, Class at the Shop in Sept., but this Workshop can give you a great idea of what Tai Chi is and if it is something you would like to study on a weekly basis.
